WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE IN THE COOKIES AND WHAT FLAVORS DO YOU OFFER?

All cookies are vanilla sugar cookies with vanilla royal icing.

Cookie: All purpose flour, butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and baking powder.

Icing: powdered sugar, meringue powder, light corn syrup, imitation vanilla, water, and artificial food colors.

Babycakx operates under the California Cottage Food Laws and is not subject to public health inspection. Cookies are made in a home kitchen with known food allergens, including but not limited to, wheat, eggs, dairy and nuts. I cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination with food allergens.

DO YOU MAKE GLUTEN-FREE? DO YOU HAVE AN ALLERGEN FREE KITCHEN?

Gluten-free is available upon request for an additional charge. While I take every precaution to make sure your cookies don’t come in contact with food allergens, I do use flour, eggs, dairy and nuts in my kitchen. Consumers, be aware that I cannot guarantee zero-cross contamination.

IS THERE A MINIMUM QUANTITY FOR AN ORDER?

The minimum order for custom cookies is 2 dozen cookies.

HOW BIG ARE YOUR COOKIES AND HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE TO MAKE THESE EDIBLE WORKS OF ART?

Cookie sizes vary depending on the design but most are 3” to 4 ½ ”. Prices start at $42/dz but the number of designs, details and colors will affect the final cost. Please visit our menu page for pricing tiers and/or request a free cookie quote. Minis are available and are approximately 1 1⁄2” to 2”.

HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD I PLACE AN ORDER?

Even if you don’t know exactly what your designs will be it’s never too early to book your order. At a minimum, place your order at least 2 weeks in advance from the date you need your cookies. Your custom cookies require time and planning to ensure that all cookie cutters, ingredients and supplies are available to create your masterpieces.

HOW DO I PLACE AND PAY FOR MY ORDER?

Please submit your request through the cookie inquiry tab. Once you submit your request and we agree upon availability, pricing and pick-up, I will email you an invoice. An initial non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total order is required to confirm and hold the date. An order is not confirmed until payment is received. Remaining balance must be paid one week before pick-up. Payments are accepted via Venmo or Zelle. Sorry, no checks.

WHAT KINDS OF COOKIES CAN YOU MAKE AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CREATE A CUSTOM ORDER?

I can create almost any cookie design based on the information you provide. The more details you give me, the better for me to design your order. Every cookie is created with care from scratch to meet your expectations. Edible cookie masterpieces can take up to 5 days to be ready for your eating pleasure.

DO YOU OFFER DECORATE IT YOURSELF (DIY) OR PAINT YOUR OWN (PYO) COOKIE KITS?

Yes, but only as a pop-up option. This means, limited DIY or PYO cookie kits will be offered about once a month. Check out my Pop-up tab for availability.

WHAT PACKAGING OPTIONS DO YOU HAVE?

Cookies are individually sealed in clear bags and come packaged in a window box. There is an add-on option for decorative bows/ribbons on each cookie.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED AND DO YOU DELIVER?

Pickups are in Whittier, CA. Delivery is available for an additional charge and will vary based on location. Interested? Let’s discuss.

DO YOU SHIP COOKIES?

No, shipping is not available due to operating under the California Cottage Food Law.

DO YOU ACCEPT RUSH ORDERS?

If my calendar can accommodate your order, definitely! There will be, however, (ehem) a rush fee. Let’s discuss.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY?

I get it, life happens. If you need to cancel your order and it’s more than a week before pick-up, you will be refunded the amount paid (minus deposit) OR you will be given the option of applying your deposit/payment and rescheduling your order within 3 months, if my calendar permits.

If you need to cancel a week or less before pick-up and your order has not been baked, you will have the option of applying your entire payment and rescheduling your order within 3 months, if my calendar permits.

NO REFUND OR RESCHEDULING OPTION WILL BE GIVEN AFTER COOKIES HAVE BEEN BAKED.
